Veteran Council member Jim Smith is running for his fourth term on Town Council. A lifelong dairy farmer, Jim was born and raised in Canton. He served on the County Legislature from 1984 to 1993, as Town Supervisor from 1994 to 2001, and on Town Council from 2011 to present. He lives in Morley with his wife Linda.
